Security Council resolution 2535(2020) mandated the Secretary-General to submit a biennial report to the Security Council on the implementation of resolutions 2250(2015), 2419(2018) and 2535(2020) on youth, peace and security.

In preparation for the Secretary-General's second report on youth, peace and security, UN entities, Regional Organizations, International Financial Institutions and Civil Society Organizations, specially youth-led organizations, networks and groups are invited to contribute inputs on their efforts and achievements regarding the implementation of the youth, peace and security agenda (in the reporting period of 1 January 2020 to 31 December 2021).

Entities are required to consolidate their inputs and provide one submission per entity using the online form by 30 October 2021.

The word-version of the questionnaire is available here to facilitate the consolidation process, but please note that submissions will only be accepted using the online form.

Submit a thematic paper

The YPS Secretariat has launched a call for thematic papers on various aspects of youth, peace and security. The papers could explore specific thematic areas in support of the youth, peace and security agenda, focus on specific countries or regions, or provide analysis on youth, peace and security trends, challenges and opportunities.

Find more information about the thematic papers here!
