Honda has been selling the all-new Brio in the Philippines for over three years. The A-segment hatchback – Honda Brio 2022 Philippines now appears more mature and is packed with more standard amenities across the range, with a sportier design inside and out.

Both the RS and V models have already been evaluated, but it has yet to receive a makeover or an upgrade during its current life cycle. Thankfully, Honda Indonesia has introduced a special edition variant of the Brio RS, which might indicate that the PH-spec hatchback is due for a makeover.

The 2022 Brio RS Urbanite Edition is a dressed-up version of the hatchback with a number of cosmetic changes. The Urbanite receives a large tailgate-mounted wing that dominates the back end. Blacked-out 15-inch alloy wheels, black door handles, black side skirts, and a more attractive rear bumper with fake metal details are also included.

Honda also revealed two new color options for the Brio RS Urbanite Edition, Tafetta White Two-Tone and Crystal Black Pearl, in addition to the sporty additions. The new colors go well with the hatchback’s existing colors, which include Phoenix Orange Pearl Two-Tone and Carnival Yellow Two-Tone.

The RS package is still installed on the rest of the vehicle. The blacked-out grille, black side mirrors, orange and fake carbon-fiber cabin decor, orange-stitched fabric upholstery, a touchscreen infotainment system with Bluetooth and USB, and adjustable headrests for the front seats are among them.

Under the hood of the Brio, the 1.2-liter naturally-aspirated i-VTEC inline-four stays unchanged. It produces 90 horsepower and 110 pound-feet of torque and may be coupled to either a five-speed manual or a CVT transmission.
