reportThe Latin America and Caribbean regional consultation, held in Panama City, Panama from 29 to 31 May 2017, was the fourth in a series of national and regional consultations for the Progress Study mandated by UNSCR 2250 on Youth, Peace and Security.

The consultation was organized by UN Volunteers, UNFPA, UNDP, UN Women, UNHCR, UNESCO, OIJ and the UN Peacebuilding Support Office (PBSO). A total of sixty-one participants from 30 countries (Antigua and Barbuda, Argentina, Barbados, Belize, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Grenada, Guatemala, Guyana, Haiti, Honduras, Jamaica, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Saint Lucia, Trinidad and Tobago, Uruguay and Venezuela) took part.
